Our story

Onsemiro began with something simple: a desire to create.

For Kara, working with plants became a way to express her creativity, bringing together natural textures, thoughtful details, and a little imagination to create pieces that felt alive and uniquely her own.

What started as a personal creative outlet soon began catching the attention of friends, family, and others who would ask the same question: “Would you ever sell these?”

 

Eventually, she said yes.

 

After selling her first few creations, Kara began bringing her work to local events and, during the holiday seasons, even setting up shop in local malls. What began as a creative passion was slowly growing into something neither she nor her husband had originally planned: a family business.

Today, Onsemiro is brought to life by a husband and wife team, with their son at the heart of the family behind it. Together, they have continued building a brand rooted in creativity, nature, and the simple joy of bringing something beautiful into someone’s space.

 

Every Onsemiro piece carries a little bit of that original spirit. The curiosity to create. The care that comes from something made by hand. The belief that even the smallest touch of nature can make a space feel more alive.
